Granny and Papa a.k.a. Sharon and John came to visit in July. It was so great to see them! They stayed for three weeks and we crammed in lots of fun stuff during the trip! We also spent lots of time just visiting and playing. Lucas says, "hej hej Granny!"
Annalise says, "This is the Domkyrkan Granny. It is also called the Lund Cathedral."
"Granny the dress you made me is perfect for jumping pictures! Tack sa mycket!"
We decided to go back to Kronborg a.k.a. Hamlet's castle in Denmark. Here it is from the ferry as we approached.
This is the Cathedral in the castle.
Here we all are in the courtyard of the castle.
Ray spinning his little princess!
I love sweet holding hand pictures!
Here we are playing by the moat. Lucas LOVED the ducks and swans!
Annalise showing off her feather pen.
Annalise is posing in the casemates in front of a statue of Holger Danske. There is a legend about this king who is sleeping and he will wake up and protect his country when he is needed.
This is the only pic we took while in Helsingør Denmark which is a neat little city.
Lucas liked looking out the window while on the ferry.
It's fun to have adventures but it's also fun to just play!
And play...
And play...
And play!
We also took an adventure to Malmo. Here we are in the town square.
We went to the Malmo Musuem. The kids had so much fun in the tractor!
Here Ray and Annalise are on the steps of the University library (picture below).
It was a little cold for most of July to swim outside but the kids loved to pretend inside. We put all the pillows on the floor from the couch and pretend it is our pool!
Here Sharon is in front of one of the houses at Kulturen. Look at that grass roof!
Right before Sharon and John had to go home there was a wonderful warm beach day- yea! We got on the bus (with about 100 other people!) and headed to Lomma Beach. It was actually warm and beautiful and the water was even warm! All in all a great day even though the bus broke down and we had to get out and walk! Life without a car is a different life!
Look at those smiles!!
Granny and Papa with their beloved grandkids! We love you guys! Thanks for coming to visit!!!
