We decided to joint the American Women's Club of Malmo for our second year in Sweden. We realized that we missed celebrating and doing something to mark American holidays and this club hosts wonderful events for many different holidays. The first event we attended was the visit to the pumpkin patch.
It is so funny how I felt the urge to snap a picture of Lucas sitting on a pumpkin. I felt like the only mom who didn't have a picture of her baby on a pumpkin!
Here Ray, Annalise, and Lucas are with our friends T and M.
Everyone got to pick a pumpkin!
Here we are at Octoberfest! It was supposed to be an adult night but since our babysitter got sick the kids tagged along. We actually had a lot of fun and I'm glad the kids were there!
Playing at the park right next to our house with our friends E and H.
Here the kids are playing at Kulan.
She is flying!
Lucas is becoming quite an artist!
Annalsie loves to make necklaces.
We went to St. Hans Garden to play with friends and and Annalise got to do something really cool!
Archery!
Here Annalise is with her friends L, A, and I before A moved to Australia for four months.
We took a fun adventure to Kivik for the Apple Festival with our friends T, C, and M. On the way we stopped for a picnic at a very scenic overlook.
This is a huge picture made entirely of apples.
Lucas was so tempted by all the apples. He just kept saying, "apple" and trying to pull the apples off the displays.
Good thing he could not reach the huge apple picture!
Here Annalise and M posing!
Here Annalise is with her friend I on the bus
Lucas likes trains!
More playing outside! This is a neat park in the countryside next to a really nice cafe. There was a really cool obstacle course that was really challenging.
Lucas loves to rock while standing up at Kulan! Here we are on International Day at Kulan.
Annalise has made fast friends with twins in her class that just moved here form Stockholm, A and K. They play together so well!
Pictures can not accurately capture the beauty of this rainbow. It is probably the biggest and most brilliant rainbow I have ever seen. I took the picture to remind me even though I know it looked much bigger, better and brighter in real life. Things usually do.
