Our first visitors arrived in March to see us and explore Scandinavia. My parents arrived in Lund tired but happy to see us March 22nd. After a day of rest we rented a car and started to make our way to Denmark across the Oresund bridge. First we stopped in Malmo and walked out to the edge of the pier.
You can see the Turning Torso in the background.
On Sunday Trine and Morton hosted a family reunion dinner. We all enjoyed spending time with relatives and meeting new people but I think that Annalise enjoyed the trampoline the most!

Playing in the front yard- the weather was awesome!
The next day we went to our first castle in Denmark, Fredericksberg Castle. It was spectacular!
The girls!
Annalise loved looking at the clothes! Later that day when we asked her her favorite part of the castle she talked about the pink dress!
This is the cathedral in the castle.
Annalise was excited to see where the princess slept.
This was the grand ballroom. There were lots of pictures of royalty and this was Annalise' favorite.
The walls were covered in tapestry.
Annalsie decided that she wanted this to be her bedroom!
We had a picnic on a bench near the gardens, look at that view.
Grandpa and Annalise feeding the ducks.
Lucas was very into walking around outside the castle but not the right way!
The gardens! How would you like to have this for a backyard?
Lucas was not happy to be hindered from exploring even for a second.
If you are ever in the area I would highly recommend this castle. It was amazing!
