It is really crazy how quick these kids are growing up! In the beginning of February Lucas starting talking, in two languages! His first word was "dada" in the end of January and it was quickly followed by "titta" (the swedish word for "look") on February 10th. Throughout February and the beginning of March he added, "up" "down" "hiya" "bye" and "bil" (car in swedish) and "ata" (eat). He also started signing "more" and "all done."
Annalise loves to ride on the bus on her own seat!
Lucas is very proud to start feeding himself.
Lucas and I continue to go to Kulan (the open preschool) and he likes to look at the books and play the bongo drums! His favorite thing at Kulan is the singing time. The teachers there lead a really fun music time where they play different instruments, sing songs using puppets and stuffed animals, and lead simple dances. Lucas loves it! He usually goes in the middle of the circle and dances almost the entire time. I keep trying to get a video of this but have not yet.
Sometimes Annalise and Lucas play really well together. Of course other times Lucas pulls Annalises' hair and Annalise takes his toys!
Annalise went to a fun house in February called Treasure Island and she ran around until she was so red she looked like a tomato!
We bought Lucas his first pair of long underwear and I became a little obsessed about his adorable pot belly! I mean look at it! I insisted on skyping with a bunch of people to show them Lucas' belly and I think Ray thought I was a little crazy!
This is Lucas' first fat lip! Elevator floor one point and Lucas zero!
Annalise was so proud of her tower she wanted to have a picture of it!This is Lucas at his dagis called Duvkullan on the family night.
In February Lucas became a real walker meaning he wore shoes and wanted to walk everywhere whether we were inside or outside suddenly! He liked to go to the laundry room and it was much easier since he could walk and I could carry the clothes but it was like herding a cat to get him in the elevator.
Here is Lucas and his friend S at one of our favorite bakeries MorMors (translated Grandmother's). He loved to look at the yummy pastries and bang on the glass!
Every afternoon when it is time to pick up Annalise I say, "Lucas, it's time to pick up Annalise" and he drops what toy he is playing with and goes right to the door. He sure loves his big sister!
