England here we come, again! OR London with 6 kids two days in a row, crazy but awesome!

Our great friends Harriet and Mike invited to come visit them for a long weekend in July while our other great friends, The Dullas were visiting the UK.  It was an irresistible invitation.  We flew from Malmo to Stansted on Thursday afternoon and arrived in time to enjoy a wonderful dinner with everybody!  We always eat very well when we visit Harriet and Mike.  They had just remodeled their kitchen and it was spectacular!  Here is Melissa with Martha and Molly.

Fat Boy!

The breakfast and dinner table ... aka the circus performance stage! Six adults and six kids for every meal.

Here the boys are sharing a moment.

We woke up the next morning and as quickly as 6 adults and 6 kids can leave the house we took the train to London and headed to Greenwich. Annalise is so excited she is literally vibrating! After a wonderful lunch we saw the Cutty Sark (the last surviving tea clipper ship) and The National Maritime Museum.

Check out my big gun!

 In front of the museum.
Inside the museum, Ray the knight. "How do you do?"
 Cutty Sark
Annalise the knight! The helmet fit over her shoulders.
 The Greenwich mean time line.
Walking around this area of London we saw how they were already preparing for the Olympics.

A group picture before we got on the boat.
We took a boat down a small part of the massive Thames River that runs through London.  It was a really fun and relaxing part of the day.  Melissa posing with her beautiful girls!

Cool apartments right on the river.
 The Tower Bridge.
Tower of London seen from the River.
St. Paul's Cathedral.

Next we went to the Tate Modern which is a National modern art gallery that is located in an old Power Station.  It is massive!

We stopped for a snack or "fika" in the museum cafe and had the most amazing view.  The camera just could not capture it so we just enjoyed it!  A little while after this picture was taken three angels (a.k.a. Ray, Chris, and Mike) took six tired and cranky kids home so that three wonderful ladies could go to dinner and have a night out.  Thanks guys!!

We started off with drinks at The George Inn.  Apparently Shakespeare and Dickens drank here- cool!
Here we are enjoying some girl time!

Enjoying some breakfast in the great kitchen before heading to London again.
Another group picture with Tower bridge in the background
Annalise is smiling so big her eyes are closed! Oh and bubu also saw everything in London and also decided to stay a couple of extra days without Annalise. I hope bubu had fun on her own and stayed out of trouble. Thank you Harriet for buying her a ticket (postage) back to Sweden. Who knew bubu was old enough to fly by herself.

Tower of London was our destination for day #2.
There were awesome life sized wire sculptures all over the grounds. Here is a pride of lions guarding the entrance, but there were also baboons and an elephant.

Annalise trying to make the guard smile and laugh. She, along with everyone else, was unsuccessful.

Also know as the Royal Family Jewels (Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!). We have now seen the Crown Jewels of Sweden, Denmark and England.  England's jewels are by far the best!

We next went to famous Brick Lane for some yummy curry! People stand outside the restaurants to lure customers. "Hey hey hey do you want curry in a hurry we have a table for you!"

 The Gherkin.

 Lucas playing with Oliver.
 Lucas hugging Molly
Lucas was begging for lollipop from the big kids by saying, "pop."  It was really cute.

Train platforms are great places to be silly!

Our last day in England was sunny so we got to enjoy Harriet and Mikes backyard!

Lucas just wanted to play with balls!!

The kids just kickin' it on the bench. Molly, Martha, Oliver, Sarah, Annalise, and Lucas
