I remember my first spring in Colorado. It was glorious! I of course had lived through 21 springs before in Arizona but spring in Tucson is very different since there is not a true winter. I remember Tracy and I going to Wash Park on the first day of spring and we decided that in order to really appreciate spring you had to first survive a hard winter. Well I thought that winter in Denver was hard until I moved to Sweden. Imagine waking up every morning for six months and putting on long underwear; long underwear everyday! Imagine being cold to your bones and then the freezing wind starts and never stops. There are some neat things about winter here but overall it is tough. So you may be wondering was the beginning of spring in Sweden glorious; yes it was!
Even though it is tons warmer do you see how Annalise, Lucas and I are still in winter jackets with hats and scarves! These pictures are form Stadsparken (The City Park).
Since it is spring we have to blow bubbles!
Ray took this picture, pretty neat, huh?
The kids love to pop them!
